Howdy from Salmon, Idaho! "White
Water Capitol of the World". JAXONBILT HAT CO. is located, with Klemmer
Custom Boots, in the mountain country of East Central Idaho. As the crow
flies, Salmon is approximately 5-7 miles west of the Continental Divide,
on the boarder of Montana and Idaho.
Salmon is the county seat for Lemhi County, home of Sacajawea, the Shoshone
Indian woman who served as the interpreter/guide for Lewis & Clark.
The Lewis & Clark Trail passes close to the town of Salmon. One can
retrace the Lewis & Clark expedition through Lemhi County, over Lost
Trail Pass into Montana.

Our small town was visited recently
by the "National Geographic Magazine". Writers for the magazine
wrote that Salmon was the most remote community in the USA. Lemhi County
is a beef country, with more cattle than people and only two traffic lights.
Take a look at our "Boot and Suspender Shops" You’ll enjoy
the look and fit of our "Salmon River Pacs and our JAXONBILT Suspenders."
Just like our hats and suspenders, each pair of Salmon River Pacs is handcrafted
and custom made to your specifications. We are a full service hat and
boot shop. Your satisfaction is guaranteed. The same careful attention
is provided for our full hat renovation services. The hats pictured in
our site, are only a small part of the options available to you. Please
feel free to have a look around our web site and contact us with any questions
you might have. |
